Welcome to the Official Website of Bornholm Art Museum
Bornholm Art Museum is situated above the Sanctuary Rocks (Helligdomsklipperne) about six kilometres north-west of Gudhjem in one of the most stunning and spectacular landscapes in Denmark. The museum building was built in 1993 and enlarged in 2003, and we are not alone in considering it a brilliant example of modern Danish architecture.
Having a beautiful structure in a scenic landscape naturally gives us something to live up to, so we strive to present artwork of international calibre – in our permanent collections and frequently changing special exhibitions alike. We also want to make sure that through the service we provide at the ticket counter and in our shop and café you will feel welcome as our guest as you visit the collections, buildings and grounds, which we are privileged to manage on behalf of the people of Bornholm.
